Acres are a metalcore band from Portsmouth, UK, who pair crushing guitar work with melodic choruses and raw vocals. The quartet - vocalist Ben Lumber, guitarists Alex Freeman and Ash Scott, and bassist Jack Rogers - built their following with debut album 'Lonely World' (2019) and broke through internationally with 'Burning Throne' (2023), earning praise from Kerrang!. Their third album 'The Host', produced by Landon Tewers of The Plot In You and recorded in Detroit, arrived in May 2025.
Acres announced an extended version of 'The Host', released on September 26, 2025 via Solid State Records, with three additional tracks including 'Push Me Away' featuring Landon Tewers.
The band announced a North American spring tour 2026 as support for Fit For A King, together with Invent Animate and Ten56.
The third album 'The Host' appeared on May 2, 2025 via Solid State/Tooth & Nail Records, produced by Landon Tewers of The Plot In You in his studio in Michigan.
Acres toured extensively through North America as support for The Plot In You, The Devil Wears Prada and Beartooth, with almost every show sold out.
