Acres + Wayside + What Lies Below + Lifespark

Acres is a British metalcore powerhouse that transforms heavy emotions into massive choruses and devastating soundscapes. With 'Lonely World' (2019) they built a large fanbase, but it was 'Burning Throne' that brought the band to international metal festivals and secured support slots for Fit For A King, Like Moths To Flames, The Devil Wears Prada, Miss May I and Resolve. They played with the latter at De Helling in 2024.

Now they return with a new album - 'Host' - and a brand new live show. They bring three support acts: Wayside, What Lies Below and Lifespark.

The Australian duo Wayside combines shoegaze, emo and grunge, with influences like Deftones, Citizen and Limp Bizkit. Their album 'What Does Your Soul Look Like', produced by Will Yip, earned millions of streams and critical acclaim. What Lies Below hails from Pennsylvania and is relatively new to the metalcore scene, but already has millions of fans behind them. The four-piece has been on De Helling's wish list for some time.

Finally, there's German band Lifespark, which describes itself as 'heavy pop': energetic lyrics combined with mosh-pit-worthy breakdowns. The band draws from influences like We Came As Romans, A Day To Remember and Mayday Parade, and is known for a cover of Natasha Bedingfield's 'Unwritten'.
