Master Pianist Ketevan Sharumashvili

Georgian pianist Ketevan Sharumashvili performs a recital in the Master Pianists series, with a programme inspired by her albums Fantasia and Connected.

The first half features works in which composers explore the boundaries of classical form: from C.P.E. Bach and Beethoven to Scriabin. After the interval, the focus shifts to connection: in Liszt's piano arrangements, melodies by Bach, Wagner and Schubert take on new life, and different musical traditions come together.
