The Mullet Monster Mafia + Thee Andrews Surfers (farewell show) + Grotta | Surfpunk Night

Three bands come together on Friday 13 November for an evening of surfpunk, garage and skatepunk at Poppodium Phoenix in Breda.

The Mullet Monster Mafia (BRA) is a Brazilian trio from Piracicaba that has been shaking up stages worldwide since 2009 with their mix of surfpunk, metal and psychobilly. Dynamite Magazine once described their sound as Motörhead playing surfpunk. With releases like I.N.F.E.R.N.O. and Surf'n'Goat, they have built a solid reputation in the South American underground; in 2026 their tenth European tour is planned.

Thee Andrews Surfers - emerging from the defunct Fifty Foot Combo - deliver rousing, raw garage punk full of rock-'n'-roll. Es, Bee and Jay Andrews play together with Matto le D. and have previously shared the stage with Nigel Lewis of The Meteors. This is their final show in the Netherlands.

Grotta closes the evening with old school skatepunk inspired by Gang Green, Hüsker Dü, T.S.O.L. and Agent Orange - the energy of skate ramps and basements from the 1980s and 1990s.
