Rockford + Automatic Dead Drive + Habitat 67 | Grunge, Rock & Stoner

An evening with three acts in the grunge and stoner rock spectrum: Rockford, Automatic Dead Drive and Habitat 67 take the stage at Poppodium Phoenix in Breda.

Rockford is a three-piece from Klundert playing heavy, grinding stoner rock inspired by Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains. The band name refers to the birthplace of singer/guitarist Niels Schmitz in the United States. In 2021 the band signed with indie label Grunge Pop Records; since then they have accumulated over 500,000 streams on Spotify, their music plays on international radio stations and they have achieved various chart placements.

Automatic Dead Drive is a four-piece band that breathes new life into 1990s grunge. Heavy guitars, a rhythm section that hits like a tank and a voice that sounds raw and gritty yet also knows how to be melodic.

Habitat 67 was formed in early 2024 from members of Zoon, Radio Blackout, The Liszt and Gifter. Their debut Make Me Forget showcases a form of progressive metal that draws inspiration from brutalist architecture, with passages ranging from blastbeats to grunge.
