Ahmed Aboutaleb, former mayor of Rotterdam, shares stories from his memoir "Thuis" (Home): a candid reflection on his childhood in Morocco, his arrival in the Netherlands, and his path to one of the country's most influential public positions.

This autumn, a new paperback edition of "Thuis" is being released, exactly fifty years after Aboutaleb set foot on Dutch soil on 17 October 1975. During the event, he discusses the book and what the concept of 'home' means to him. Afterwards, there will be time for questions and a book signing.

The afternoon is accompanied by live music. A ticket includes coffee or tea.
