Waalse Kerk x MEZZ: Tessa Rose Jackson

Tessa Rose Jackson returns to performing under her own name with her new album 'The Lighthouse'. Previously working under the alias Someone, she explored the boundaries of dreampop and visual art. Now she takes a stripped-down, intimate approach.

'The Lighthouse' emerged during a period of stillness and reflection, and is a personal, layered album about mortality, identity and life. The music draws from alt-folk, cinematic pop and subtle electronics - moving between whisper-soft piano moments and richly arranged, almost haunting compositions. For this concert at the Waalse Kerk, Tessa brings string players.
