Emmy d'Arc

Emmy d'Arc discovered her voice at age 12 through the PlayStation game Singstar and received her first guitar shortly after. As a teenager, she taught herself chords and began performing with her mother, who provided sound equipment.

Using guitar, piano, stomp box and a loop station, the Belgian singer-songwriter builds a sound with the impact of a full band. Her music moves between intimate singer-songwriter pop and powerful rock, driven by a raw, expressive voice.

Over 15 years she has accumulated more than 450 performances. The wider public discovered her through a viral cover of "November" on the TV show 'Ik Vraag Het Aan'. Since then she has opened for Sting, Amy Macdonald and John Cale, and performed at festivals including Pukkelpop and Gent Jazz.

Her debut album 'Braving Fears', produced by Jean Blaute, features tracks like 'Frontline' and 'Angels' - songs with broad choruses built for singing crowds.
