An Afternoon with Boudewijn de Groot

This listening session focuses on the work of Boudewijn de Groot. De Groot himself is present and will discuss his music, career, and the significance of his albums over the years with journalist Menno Pot.

The occasion is the reissue of his original albums on vinyl, newly pressed and half-speed mastered at Abbey Road by engineer Miles Showell. Half-speed mastering involves transferring the master to lacquer at half speed, giving the mastering engineer greater precision. The result is more detail, a wider stereo image, and warmer sound.
