Thomas Azier

After three years of relative silence, Thomas Azier returns with PANORAMA, a personal project created while caring for his seriously ill partner and their young son. The work combines pop, electronic music, strings, spoken word, opera and projection - intimate in origin, but cinematic in scale.

During this listening session, specially for the Haarlem Vinyl Festival, Thomas talks with Cristel Ball about the making of PANORAMA, his working methods and the artists who inspired him. He brings records from his own collection as an introduction to fragments from the new project.
