Thomas Azier (born 14 August 1987 in Leiderdorp) is a Dutch avant-pop singer and composer who grew up in Groningen and moved to Berlin at nineteen. There he developed his signature sound: dark, cinematic synthpop with a theatrical edge. His debut album Hylas (2014) earned him an Edison Award, as did the follow-up Rouge (2017), which reached the Dutch top 20. He has since released six studio albums and contributed to the soundtrack of the blockbuster film The Equalizer 3.
Azier released the symphonic single 'Year in a Spiral' / 'Twenty Twenty-Three' in early 2026.
The minimalist studio EP 'Power to the People Who Don't Want It' was released on June 1, 2025, recorded at Studio 150 in Amsterdam.
Azier is working on an album for his performance art project Panoroma, which was to be released in 2026.
Azier performed with the Noordpool Orchestra a concert in Groningen that was rated five stars by Dagblad van het Noorden.
His track 'Love, Disorderly' was used in the film The Equalizer 3, directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Denzel Washington.

American singer-songwriter Thomas Azier performs an intimate concert at PHIL in Haarlem.
