Double: Farida & Ivar van der Walle

Farida Laan began as a cartoonist and now brings her absurdist world to the stage through language and movement. Her debut programme Zakkenwassers took audiences into a literary absurdist universe. She won the Shaffy Cheque in the 2021 Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival final and has since toured extensively, including with the Cabarestafette. She is currently developing a new show.

Ivar van der Walle is a singer, cabaret performer and poet. He graduated from the directing programme at Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2023. His Dutch-language music and texts are described as literary, evoking Bram Vermeulen and Leonard Cohen. In 2024 he placed second at the Dutch Poetry Slam Championship. At the 2025 Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival he won both the audience prize and the Ramses Shaffy Cheque. He is currently part of the song collective Club Shaffy. In this double show he presents new music.
