Holy Metal Through Blaudzun's Eyes (with King's X)

Doug Pinnick, Ty Tabor, and Jerry Gaskill have been the core of metal trio King's X since the 1980s. Starting as a Christian rock band in Austin, Texas, they quickly outgrew that label and forged their own groundbreaking musical path - building a devoted global fanbase along the way.

Blaudzun is one of them. During this listening session, he shares what King's X means to him as a musician, and the band's best songs take centre stage. Frontman and bassist Doug Pinnick may join the conversation. King's X remains active: their 2022 album Three Sides Of One was met with critical acclaim.
