Tim Knol

Tim Knol has been one of the Netherlands' most beloved singer-songwriters for over fifteen years. His songs - personal, relatable, often inspired by travels, encounters and everyday stories - are rooted in folk, Americana and country. Live, he speaks between songs as naturally as he sings: disarming and genuine.

His latest project 'Wanderings' began as a soundtrack to his theatre production of the same name and grew into a full album. From the cinematic title track 'Wanderings' to the hushed 'On This Quiet Mountain': the record combines rich arrangements and strings with intimate moments. Producer Jeroen Tenty contributed to a sound that sometimes recalls the classic productions of Lee Hazlewood.

Tim Knol broke through in 2010 with his acclaimed debut album 'Tim Knol', on which 'Sam' became a fan favourite. This was followed by albums such as 'Days', 'Soldier On', 'Cut the Wire' and 'Lightyears Better', alongside projects like 'Lost & Found', a collaboration with Blue Grass Boogiemen and various theatre programmes.
