Colin James & band

Colin James is a Canadian rock and blues singer, guitarist and songwriter who has been active for over 35 years. He plays and sings in the way that feels natural to him - no other way, never any other way. He recently celebrated his 60th birthday, but his passion for making music and touring remains undiminished.

His career boasts an impressive series of milestones. His self-titled debut album from 1988 was the fastest-selling album in Canadian history, earning him his first Juno Award and an opening slot on tour with Keith Richards. His second album "Sudden Stop" reached third place on the US radio charts and won him the Juno Award for Single of the Year. In 2013 he was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.

In September 2025 he performed successfully on the Amer garden stage. Now he returns - this time to the hall of Cultureel Café De Amer in Amen.
