Tess Merlot and pianist Guillaume Marcenac present 'Oh la la, Noël' - an evening of French Christmas songs, winter stories and chansons. Drawing inspiration from Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Dalida and Tino Rossi, they perform Christmas classics like 'White Christmas' and 'Let It Snow' in French arrangements.

Tess Merlot made her debut in 2021 with 'Laissez-moi' and has since performed across the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany and Australia. Her second album 'Chante la vie' was released in 2024. Guillaume Marcenac accompanies her on piano.

The performance takes place at Cultureel Café De Amer in Amen.

About: Tess Merlot

The Hague-based chansonnière Tess Merlot weaves classics by Brel, Piaf and Aznavour together with her own songs, performing in settings ranging from intimate duo to full orchestra. Her second album Chante la vie (2024) and her ongoing collaboration with the Residentie Orkest mark her as the Netherlands' foremost interpreter of the French chanson.
