David Ramirez

Texas-based singer-songwriter David Ramirez brings his European tour to Cultureel Café De Amer in Amen in early 2027, promoting his latest album "All The Not So Gentle Reminders".

Ramirez is known for his baritone voice, guitar playing, and deeply personal songwriting. Austin's local music press named him Songwriter of the Year. His earlier albums "Fables" and "We're Not Going Anywhere" earned strong recognition; on "All The Not So Gentle Reminders" he blends his roots sound with ambient textures and jazz influences.

Live, he performs with accompanying musicians who bring groove and dynamics to the songs. Beyond the music, he is known as a storyteller who balances weighty themes like loss and hope with humour and anecdotes.
