The Radar Station

The Radar Station is a Belgian indie rock band formed in 2017 by brothers Brent Beukelaer (vocals, guitar) and Sander Cliquet (guitar, synths), completed by Robbe Broeckx (drums), Toon Rumen (bass) and percussionist Wes Verschoren. The band describes their sound as "uplifting, alternative pop to go along with inspiring storytelling" - and that's no exaggeration. Cinematic soundscapes, layered synths and guitars define their style; artists like Snowpatrol, The National and The War on Drugs are regularly cited as reference points.

After winning De Nieuwe Lichting in 2020, their debut album "Life Inside A Tornado" received widespread airplay, followed by sold-out shows at AB (Ancienne Belgique), Trix and Het Depot, and performances at Dranouter and Labadoux. Now signed to V2 Records, the band returns with the new single "Big Big Town", produced by Koen Gisen, and the album "Birds Of Choice".

The Radar Station comes to Cultureel Café De Amer in Amen.
