Shadow of Intent is an American deathcore band from Connecticut, founded in 2013 by vocalist Ben Duerr and guitarist Chris Wiseman. Starting as a Halo-inspired studio project, they grew into one of the most respected acts in symphonic deathcore, with albums like Melancholy (2019) and the Billboard-charting Elegy (2022). Their fifth album, Imperium Delirium, arrived in June 2025 and features a guest appearance by Corpsegrinder of Cannibal Corpse.
Shadow of Intent announced a North American headlining tour for spring 2026, together with AngelMaker, Mental Cruelty and Synestia.
