Naaz (Naaz Mohammed, born 1998) is a Dutch-Kurdish singer-songwriter, producer and writer from Rotterdam, whose parents fled Iraqi Kurdistan during the Gulf War. A self-taught musician, she broke through with her 2018 EP Bits of Naaz and two Edison Awards, then stepped away from the industry before returning in 2023 as an independent artist with her debut album Never Have I Ever - a record rooted in Kurdish identity, diaspora and personal freedom.
Naaz releases her second album in 2026 via Believe Music and subsequently goes on an album release tour at Dutch venues.
In December 2025, Naaz announced her album release tour, with concerts from March to May 2026 in the Netherlands and one show in Belgium.
Naaz released the self-produced EP Read Me in 2025, followed by the single Bark in 2026.
In October 2024, Naaz announced that her album Writer Girl made the pre-selection for a Grammy nomination in the Best Alternative Music Album category, and that the song Kche Baralla was considered for Best Song for Social Change.
In July 2023, Naaz was the opening act for Lana Del Rey in a sold-out Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, after she had approached the concert hall herself.
