John Tejada and Monty DJ spin a late-night set at Radio Radio, a club in Amsterdam.
John Tejada (Vienna, 1974) is a Los Angeles-based DJ, producer and composer who has been releasing electronic music since 1994. Raised in a household of classical musicians - his father a conductor, his mother an opera singer - he found his way through hip-hop into techno and house. His catalogue spans Kompakt, Pokerflat, Cocoon and his own Palette Recordings, and he is widely regarded for a meticulous, melodic approach that moves freely across genre lines.
Tejada released his fifteenth album 'The Watchline' on September 5, 2025 via Palette Recordings, featuring contributions from vocalist March Adstrum.
Reviewers described 'The Watchline' as a personal and emotionally focused work, partly influenced by the California wildfires in 2024.
In July 2025, Tejada announced 'The Watchline' and described the album as an exploration of the boundary between memory and forgetting.
