Åsa Söderqvist is the Swedish musician behind the lo-fi rock project ShitKid, blending indie rock, punk and pop in a way that won praise from The FADER, NPR and Bandcamp Daily. Between 2016 and 2023 she released a string of records - from debut LP Fish through [DETENTION] to Rejected Fish - and played festivals including Roskilde, SXSW and Way Out West, counting Iggy Pop and Billie Joe Armstrong among her fans. She deliberately quit music in 2020 to train as a nurse, but a quietly growing cult following pulled her back: in 2026 ShitKid returns with a European tour and two career compilations marking ten years of the project.
ShitKid performs on 20 September 2026 at Mezz Breda as part of the European comeback tour.

ShitKid announced her first tour dates in December 2025 since 2020, with shows in London, Paris, Berlin and Stockholm.
