About

Archive is a British band formed in 1994 in Croydon, South London, built around Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths. Starting out in trip-hop, the group grew through albums such as Londinium, Noise and the Controlling Crowds cycle into one of the most respected live acts in progressive electronic rock, with an especially large following in France and the rest of continental Europe. Archive works with a flexible, collective line-up and several vocalists, and is known for long, layered live shows that move fluently between rock, electronics and cinematic arrangements.
