Antimatter: Mick Moss - An Electric Evening of Antimatter & Sleeping Pulse
Mick Moss performs an electric evening with both Antimatter and his project Sleeping Pulse, backed by a band of former and current Antimatter musicians.
Antimatter is a British dark rock project founded in 1998 by singer-songwriter Mick Moss and Duncan Patterson, who was also bassist and songwriter for doom metal band Anathema. The duo released three albums together before Patterson's departure in 2005, after which Moss continued the project alone, releasing a further seven studio albums. The sound ranges from atmospheric and melancholic acoustic rock to darker progressive textures, with a strong emphasis on introspective lyrics.
Antimatter released the double album Parallel Matter on 16 January 2025, a collection of unreleased tracks, alternative versions, live recordings and remixes to mark the 25th anniversary.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary, Antimatter played an extensive European tour, with multiple performances in the Netherlands, including in Alkmaar, Enschede, Hoofddorp, Arnhem, Roermond, Uden and Utrecht.
Antimatter shared a music video for the new single 'Angelic', a reworking of a track that Mick Moss wrote back in 1997.
Antimatter performed on European stages again in autumn 2025, with shows in Rome, Jena and Paris, among others.
The three-part limited edition of Parallel Matter, including the archive disc Prototapes: The Home Recordings 1995-99, was limited to 2500 numbered and signed copies.
