Riverside is a Polish progressive rock band from Warsaw, founded in 2001 by guitarist Piotr Grudziński, drummer Piotr Kozieradzki, bassist and vocalist Mariusz Duda, and keyboardist Jacek Melnicki. Across eight studio albums - from *Second Life Syndrome* (2005) to *ID.Entity* (2023) - they established themselves as one of the leading acts in contemporary prog rock. Following Grudziński's death in 2016 and guitarist Maciej Meller's arrival in 2020, both Duda and Meller announced their departure in April 2026, leaving the band's future uncertain.
Singer and bassist Mariusz Duda announced his departure on April 23, 2026 after 25 years, due to internal tensions; guitarist Maciej Meller followed shortly after, leaving only drummer Piotr Kozieradzki and keyboardist Michał Łapaj.
The live album *Live ID.* - recorded on June 1, 2024 at the Torwar Hall in Warsaw - was released on January 25, 2025 via InsideOutMusic.
Riverside performed on January 25, 2025 at the MidWinter Prog Festival in Utrecht.
The band performed on July 19, 2024 as headliner at the Night of the Prog Festival in the German St. Goarshausen.
The eighth studio album *ID.Entity* was released on January 20, 2023 and reached second place in Poland and fourth in Germany.
