About

Marillion are a British progressive rock band formed in Aylesbury in 1979. They broke through in the 1980s with singer Fish on albums such as Script for a Jester's Tear (1983) and Misplaced Childhood (1985), before continuing with Steve Hogarth from 1989 onwards. Backed by a famously devoted global fanbase - one of the first acts to crowdfund an album, in 1997 - the band has released twelve studio albums in the Hogarth era.
