About

The Pineapple Thief are a British progressive rock band founded in 1999 by vocalist and guitarist Bruce Soord in Yeovil, Somerset. Known for layered, atmospheric guitar work and lyrics that probe loss and social unease, they broke through internationally with *Your Wilderness* (2016) and *Versions of the Truth* (2020). Drummer Gavin Harrison, also of Porcupine Tree, has been part of the lineup since 2016. Their sixteenth studio album, *Far and Wide*, was released in October 2026 on InsideOut Music.
