Fakear is the stage name of French producer and DJ Théo Le Vigoureux (born 1991 in Caen), known for blending electronic music with organic, acoustic textures drawn from folk, jazz and world music. His 2016 debut album 'Animal' went gold and established him as a key figure in the French electronic scene. He has since released a string of albums, most recently 'a nice place to be' (September 2026), which marks a shift toward bass music and garage.

Fakear announced a French autumn tour, with a highlight being a performance at L'Olympia in Paris on October 9, 2026 - eleven years after his first show in that venue.
The single 'blue (i'm happy now)' was released on May 29, 2026 via Nowadays Records as a precursor to the new album.
In December 2025, Fakear released the mixtape 'open world', a mix of bass music, garage, house, breakbeat and jungle.
