Apocalypse Orchestra is a Swedish doom/folk metal band from Gävle, founded in 2013 by Mikael Lindström and Erik Larsson. They weave medieval instruments - hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, mandola - together with heavy guitars and theatrical vocals, releasing their records through Despotz Records. Their debut 'The End Is Nigh' (2017) and follow-up 'A Plague upon Thee' (2025) cemented their standing as one of the most distinctive acts in the genre. The single 'The Garden of Earthly Delights' has surpassed 21 million views on YouTube.

The band will perform the 'Plague Tour' through Europe in September 2026, with a performance in Arnhem on September 21.
