About
Wyatt E. is a Belgian drone/doom band founded in 2015 by guitarists Sébastien von Landau and Stéphane Rondia. Their music weaves traditional Middle Eastern instruments - saz, sitar, viola - into crushing doom riffs and hypnotic percussion, building a continuous conceptual narrative around Babylonian mythology and the ancient Near East. Alongside studio albums, the band has scored a film soundtrack and performed Roadburn-commissioned collaborative works, establishing themselves as one of the more distinctive voices in contemporary doom.

Wyatt E. released their latest album 'zamāru ultu qereb ziqquratu Part 1' on January 10, 2025 via Heavy Psych Sounds - the first part of a two-part concept album about the Babylonian exile of Jerusalem in 587 BCE.
