WYATT E.

After two years of work, Wyatt E. returns with zamāru ultu qereb ziqquratu Part 1 (Music from inside the Ziggurat), the first part of a two-part concept album exploring the ancient Babylonian world through the eyes of exiles from Jerusalem. Seven international collaborators contributed, two drummers were recorded simultaneously, and the instrumentation includes saz, viola da gamba, sitar and bugle, complemented by analogue and digital elements. For the first time, the band features vocal tracks with Nina Saiedi (Akkadian) and Tomer Damsky (Aramaic). Released via Heavy Psych Sounds.

PROPHETS OF THWAITES

Prophets of Thwaites is a Groningen/Friesland-based ethereal doom band. Massive, hypnotic riffs and slow grooves alternate with dreamy vocals and layered guitar solos, balancing weight and ethereal passages.
