The Bimhuis is Amsterdam's leading venue for jazz, improvised music and avant-garde sounds. Since 2005 it has occupied a striking black box attached to the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, with the main hall offering views over the river IJ. The programme draws both established names and adventurous new talent from the Netherlands and abroad.
