Four Dutch jazz musicians - pianist Reinier Baas, saxophonist Ben van Gelder, drummer Han Bennink and double bassist Joris Roelofs - perform together in Nijmegen.
Han Bennink is a Dutch jazz drummer and percussionist, born in 1942, long regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in European free improvisation. In the 1960s he played alongside Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins and Eric Dolphy, and in 1967 he co-founded the Instant Composers Pool with Misha Mengelberg - the collective that put Dutch free jazz on the map.
