Guitarist, composer and bandleader Reinier Baas won the Boy Edgarprijs, the Netherlands' most prestigious jazz award, earlier this year. With this tour he celebrates that honour together with Ben van Gelder, Han Bennink and Joris Roelofs.

About: Ben van Gelder

Ben van Gelder is a Dutch jazz saxophonist and composer who moved to New York at seventeen and spent nearly a decade playing alongside musicians such as Mark Turner and Ambrose Akinmusire. His 2023 album Manifold was singled out by The New York Times as a remarkable release.

About: Han Bennink

Han Bennink is a Dutch jazz drummer and percussionist, born in 1942, long regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in European free improvisation. In the 1960s he played alongside Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins and Eric Dolphy, and in 1967 he co-founded the Instant Composers Pool with Misha Mengelberg - the collective that put Dutch free jazz on the map.
