Description was written before the event

Scott Hamilton brings his tour to Amsterdam on Wednesday, 30 September at Bimhuis. The saxophonist performs with the Rein de Graaff Trio and guitarist Philip Catherine in straight-ahead jazz. This is one of five Dutch dates Hamilton plays this autumn. Bimhuis, located on the IJ waterfront next to Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, offers a distinctive setting with views across the water. Since opening in 2005, the venue has been Amsterdam's leading stage for jazz and improvised music.
