Geinoh Yamashirogumi - Ecophony Rinne w/ Kay Suzuki (Time Capsule) | Deep Listening Session — Teylers Museum (Pieter Teylers Huis), Haarlem
Description was written before the event

Audio-Technica and Time Capsule present a vinyl listening session on Sunday, 4 October 2026 (12:00 - 13:45) at Teylers Museum in Haarlem. Kay Suzuki from the Time Capsule label introduces Geinoh Yamashirogumi and their 1986 album Ecophony Rinne - a four-part symphony of "ecological music" featuring over 200 musicians, blending ancient traditions with technological innovation. The album is played via an Audio-Technica ART20 cartridge on a half-speed mastered reissue.

Sound is provided by the FFF Sound System, a high-fidelity four-way horn system designed and built in Rotterdam by Form Follows Frequency. For each session, the system is tuned to the acoustics of the specific space.

The session takes place at Teylers Museum, the oldest museum in the Netherlands (open since 1784). Your ticket includes museum access. Visitors automatically agree to the museum's house rules upon entry.

Note: latecomers will not be admitted - please arrive on time. This event is also accessible with the Haarlem Vinyl Festival Weekend Pass (limited capacity).
