Boudewijn de Groot Project

The Boudewijn de Groot Project is a tribute band dedicated to the music of Dutch singer-songwriter Boudewijn de Groot. Since Boudewijn no longer performs, his songs are rarely heard live - which is why the group was founded in 2024.

The theatre concert features classics such as "Avond", "Testament" and "Het Land van Maas en Waal", performed by a small ensemble that stays close to the original arrangements.

The band is led by singer and guitarist Peter de Jong, whose musical roots lie in acoustic music. He studied at the Rotterdam Conservatory and performed for many years as a troubadour on diverse stages - from theatres and cafés to castles and ships - and was a musician in the Land van Ooit. The other band members are Nadie de Jong (acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Brian Kruit (bass), Jeroen Dikkers (piano and accordion) and Diede de Jong (drums).
