Science proves it: connection between people grows fast when they sing together. L1 programme maker and LVK presenter Ruud Kleinen opens the carnival season with Vastelaovends Tieëkezinge - a musical celebration of recognition, just before Carnival.

On stage: the phenomenal Dominique Paats on accordion and lead singer Joy Blijdenstein. In the hall, 111 well-oiled voices provide the rest, accompanied by nostalgic songs from the local region.
