The Big 4 Thrash Bash returns on Friday, 20 February at Podium 't Beest. The occasion is concrete: ten days earlier, Cliff Burton would have turned 65.

The legendary Metallica bassist was far more than the man behind Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth) and Orion. His playing, taste, and musical curiosity shaped the early sound of Metallica - a sound that echoes through every new generation of thrash bands that has followed.

Four tribute bands bring the Big 4 of thrash together: Magnetica plays Metallica, Megaseth covers Megadeth, The Covernant dives into Anthrax, and the Slayer Cover Band does exactly what the name promises.
