Silent Runners + Dear Omen
Anyone who caught Silent Runners at 't Beest in 2023 - when they opened for Clan of Xymox - remembers how that set landed: afterwards, the support act drew as much conversation as the headliner.
The Amsterdam new wave/post-punk band builds dark, melodic songs on pulsing electronics and solid grooves, with vocals that are cool and gripping at once. The band draws from the precision of Depeche Mode, the heartbeat of New Order and the drama of Tears for Fears, but doesn't sound like a look back at that past.
Dear Omen is a three-piece gothic rock band from Amsterdam. Solid basslines and hard-hitting drums collide with haunting organs and dark romance, enhanced by an extravagant live show. During last year's Popronde, the band emerged as one of the audience favourites.
