Silent Runners are a five-piece new wave and post-punk band from Amsterdam who build dark, melodic songs on pulsing electronics and driving grooves. Their cool, reverb-drenched vocals draw comparisons to Depeche Mode and New Order, yet the sound feels firmly contemporary. Early support slots with Clan of Xymox and appearances at Wave Gotik Treffen helped cement their reputation across Europe. Two albums in - The Directory (2017) and Statues & Ornaments (2022) - with a third in progress.
