Mozes Rosenberg Trio

Mozes Rosenberg grew up in the musical Rosenberg family and picked up the guitar at age six. His father Mimer, brother Stochelo and uncle Waso Grünholz were his first teachers. At seven years old, he already performed with Het Rosenberg Trio on Dutch television. Later he met flamenco legend Paco de Lucia (1996) and American guitarist and singer George Benson, developing into a highly sought-after solo guitarist.

He has performed at festivals including Jazz in Marciac, North Sea Jazz, the Dutch Jazz Awards and the Amersfoort World Jazz Festival, and in spring 2024 at the Jazz Marathon Hong Kong and Sicilia Jazz Festival. Venues such as Ronnie Scott's and PizzaExpress in London, Bimhuis Amsterdam and Le Duc des Lombards in Paris are also on his list. He regularly collaborates with musicians such as jazz guitarist Anton Goudsmit, clarinetist Giacomo Smith, violist Jelle van Tongeren and flamenco guitarist Rafael Cortés.

The Mozes Rosenberg Trio is the formation he currently prefers to perform with: Mozes on solo guitar, Martin Limberger on rhythm guitar and Daniel Gueli on double bass. His repertoire consists of original compositions - including Mozology - supplemented with jazz and pop standards and gypsy jazz classics, with influences ranging from bossa nova to pop music.
