Gary Moore Memorial Tour - 'Walking By Myself'

On Sunday afternoon, 13 September, Podium 't Beest hosts a tribute to guitarist Gary Moore, who died fifteen years ago at the age of 58.

The initiative comes from guitarist Marcel Coenen, whose tribute has already been seen at festivals such as Bospop, Paaspop and Graspop Metal Meeting. For this Memorial Tour, he joins forces with Peter Vleeshouwers (Remember Phil & Gary). Personal stories and anecdotes - also through video contributions from Moore's former bandmates - alternate with music from his repertoire: classics such as Still Got the Blues, Parisienne Walkways and Out in the Fields, work from his time with Thin Lizzy and Skid Row, and lesser-known tracks.

This concert is a try-out for the autumn tour.
