Spruijt & Opperman

Carlie Spruijt and Eva Opperman have formed the duo Spruijt & Opperman since 2014. They reached the semi-finals of the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival in 2015 and made their full-length debut in 2016 with the programme 'Zij en Ik', followed by an album of the same name in 2018. Their subsequent programmes include 'Heimweeën' and 'Verzingeving'.

In their new show 'Altijdloos', they explore the twilight zone between what you say and what you mean - with songs, humour and a touch of melancholy. How do you relate to your loved one, your friends, the generation above or below you, to yourself? What we feel is of now; how we deal with it, is timeless.

'Altijdloos' makes you laugh at what you'd rather avoid, and touches you gently where you least expect it.
