Debby Petter

A woman finds a letter in her mailbox - written by someone who is no longer alive. She takes it with her on a journey that unfolds differently than planned, and afterwards has all the time in the world to reflect: on the letter's contents, on its author, and on herself. Just before her seventieth birthday, the paths she missed and erased suddenly become clear to her. How differently might her life have unfolded?

In 'Afslag Gewist' (Erased Exit), written by Youp van 't Hek, Debby Petter performs this light monologue. Harpist Emma Finkers accompanies her live and also composed all the music for the production.
