O.P. De Liefde

O.P. De Liefde is the open stage of Theater De Liefde in Haarlem, based on the Amsterdam try-out platform Open BAC - a fixture for over 50 years. Every first Wednesday of the month, the evening is hosted by someone from the theatre world: it could be a fresh festival winner or an established name.

The stage is open to anyone with theatre ambitions, with an emphasis on cabaret and comedy, but musical contributions are also welcome. Each edition features 5 acts of up to fifteen minutes and a cabaret classic. House band De Lieverdjes, led by Mees van Haren, provides the musical accompaniment. Newcomers take their first steps here, veterans test new ideas.
