Grof Geschud — Theater De Liefde, Haarlem
Description was written before the event

The Flemish-Dutch cabaret duo Grof Geschud takes the stage for the fourth time with a full evening show. Myrthe van Velden and Lander Severins present 'Vieren' - described as 'direct heirs to Kommil Foo' (Het Parool) and 'almost perfect cabaret' (Knack Focus).

There is plenty to celebrate: there are children, a solid roof over their heads, and the relationship between the two is more stable than ever now that they have moved from exes to each other's extended family. That Myrthe became the guardian of Lander's child, and Lander was subsequently not even allowed to attend her wedding, was perhaps a bit of a thing. But Lander is not at all bitter about it - he received a USB stick with the wedding service, which he still hasn't watched (according to Myrthe).

In 'Vieren', they dive into the new tensions in their lives in their characteristic candid way. How do you compensate for the absence of your family when raising a new life? And if that family is there, and quite present, do you celebrate that family bond at all costs - or is it better to let it be?
