Def Americans with On The Road Again (Johnny Cash Tribute)

After two theatre seasons built around the 'American Recordings', Def Americans chart a new course: with On The Road Again they showcase the greatest hits from Johnny Cash's broad repertoire.

The Brabant-based band has built a solid live reputation in the club and festival circuit and completed successful theatre tours throughout the Netherlands. This did not go unnoticed: in 2013, Tommy Cash - Johnny's younger brother - approached the band to accompany him during his 'My Brother Johnny' shows in the Netherlands. Def Americans now also perform regularly abroad, including Belgium, Germany, Norway and England.

Their repertoire is wide-ranging: from the early Sun Records recordings and prison albums to gospels, duets with June Carter and the 'American Recordings' series. Throughout, they preserve the unmistakable sound of The Man in Black - raw, rebellious and authentic.
