Martijn Kardol - Voor de vorm

Martijn Kardol is an award-winning Dutch cabaret performer who swept both the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival and the Leiden Cabaret Festival in a single theatre season - a first for any cabaret artist. His debut show 'Bang' earned critical acclaim and a nomination for 'Neerlands Hoop', the prize for most promising cabaret talent.

Since then, he has built a broad theatre career. He was nominated for a Musical Award for his role in the cabaret musical 'Ver van je Bed', and has appeared in 'Stoornis of my Life' and 'We zijn toch familie' alongside Paul de Leeuw and Annick Boer.

From spring 2027, Martijn returns to theatres with his fifth solo programme 'Voor de vorm'. Expect witty observations, clever stories, musical moments and surprising twists. Critics have praised his talent for playing uncomfortable situations and his exceptional singing voice - he ranks among the finest singing cabaret performers working today.
