The Wieners met Happy Days

The Wieners bring their new theatre show 'Happy Days' to MFC Kloosterhof. Having previously performed shows about Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, 'Classic Rock'n'roll Stars' and Hank Williams, they have built a loyal following.

In 'Happy Days' they travel back to 1950s America, inspired by the legendary TV series featuring Fonzie. The programme features classics by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Fats Domino, Ricky Nelson and Buddy Holly, complemented by lesser-known songs from the same era. Anecdotes between the songs tie the show together.

The band consists of Rob Roemers (vocals, guitar and piano), Jaap Wijn (vocals and guitar), Jan Timmersmans (vocals, drums and guitar) and Erwin Meijdam (vocals and double bass). The Wieners have been known for 20 years for their authentic sound, group vocals and dry humour.
